Partners
The project will bring together relevant actors and experiences representing five EEA/EU countries of Northern, Central, East and South of Europe.
Developing successful strategies on how men balance work-life and family-life is at an early stage in Europe. Some countries in this project have developed welfare and policy measures particular for men. Other countries have less concrete policy measures or none. The European Dimension and the added value in this project lie in the comparison of change processes towards care-related masculinities in the partner countries, especially focusing on the work sphere and exchanging good practices. Gathering experiences from somewhat different context that the partner countries represent, will give a unique opportunity to develop new methods. The aim of this project is e.g. to develop tools that can be used in the process of balancing work and family for men and fathers in each country. We think it is possible to reach those goals without compromising the demand within the companies for high productivity, or the need for good life quality and increased fertility.
